Trailblazer Brian Kruhlak may not have always seen himself as a golfer, but once he started playing with his dad at 15, he never looked back.

Brian entered the PGA Apprentice program in 1990 while working as an Assistant Pro at Sudden Valley. By 1992, he took over as Head Pro at Avalon Golf Links, eventually returning to Sudden Valley as Director of Golf in 2011. He officially retired from that role in April 2024.

Now, Brian is channeling his love for the game into other passions: leading golf trips to Scotland, Ireland, and Bandon Dunes (a tradition 30+ years strong), helping his son Rees grow his business—Chuckanut Golf Carts in Mount Vernon, helping in the community and enjoying new adventures with his wife, Christie.
