Meet Birch Golf Classic Trailblazer Anthony (Tony) Wright is a leader whose work is transforming lives and communities. As CEO of Pioneer Human Services, Tony has been at the forefront of expanding opportunities for justice-involved individuals since 2022. Under his leadership, Pioneer’s revenue-generating businesses continue to thrive, fueling the organization’s mission to reduce recidivism and create pathways to success through housing, employment, and behavioral health support.

Tony’s career spans both the public and private sectors, demonstrating his commitment to service and innovation. Before leading Pioneer, he held key roles, including: Assistant Commissioner at the Washington State Employment Service Department, Area Director in the Pierce County Workforce Development Region (where he was recognized in the Best of GMAP forum by Governor Gregoire), Operations Manager at Puget Sound Energy, and Engineer Officer in the United States Army.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Tony is passionate about photography, the outdoors, and, of course, golf!
