Trailblazer Dr. Don Berry received most of his training at UCSD in pulmonary, sleep, and critical care. He moved from San Diego to Bellingham in 1985 and has since held numerous leadership roles throughout the region.

He has served as the CU Medical Director for several decades and is currently the Chief of Medical Specialties at PHMG, including oversight of the Cancer Center. He has also been the Respiratory Care Director at SJH, UGH, and KGH for decades.

Dr. Berry’s past leadership roles include Chief of Staff at St. Joseph Hospital, Chairman of the Department of Medicine, and Board Member of the American Lung Association of Washington. He also serves as Director of Pulmonary Rehabilitation at Northstar.

When he’s not working, you’ll often find Dr. Berry skiing, hiking, traveling, cycling, spending time with family, or, you guessed it, golfing!
