The Birch Golf Classic raises funds for incredible non-profit organizations in a streamlined golf tournament that highlights Pacific Northwest Businesses, Trailblazers and Organizations doing good work along the I-5 Corridor. Nationally recognized equipment rental & sales company, Birch Equipment, Owner Sarah Rothenbuhler, teamed up with co-worker Jessie Everson and Board Members: Sam Adkins, Jay Julius, Jake Locker, Flo Simon and Paul Twedt to develop and run the Birch Golf Classic. Fully underwritten by Birch Equipment, 100% of the tournament proceeds go to the recipient organizations.

Connecting Business & Community


Designed to connect the Pacific Northwest's unique business and community, the Birch Golf Classic held each September the Thursday after Labor Day in Bellingham, WA. The BGC has now donated over $2.4 million to non-profit organizations helping transition our most vulnerable onto better pathways.


The event also highlights Community Trailblazers from all walks of community including but not limited to business, fisheries, manufacturing, law enforcement, social services, agriculture, health care, professional athletes, construction, government, forestry, education and local celebrities.


The tournament is a melting pot of community and business joining together to enjoy the day and get amazing work done.
