Fisherman, entrepreneur, and advocate, Trailblazer Sequoyah Julius (W'tot'Lhem) co-owns SJ Seafoods with his family and harvests and provides fresh seafood via their locations at Roche Harbor and Friday Harbor dock facilities
He also serves as Co-Executive Director of Se’ Si’ Le, where he helps lead work that brings ancestral knowledge to the forefront of modern-day policies, projects, and partnerships.
At Se’ Si’ Le—which means Our Grandmother—Sequoyah is part of a movement inviting deeper understanding of Indigenous histories and relationships to the natural world through workshops, symposia, forums, direct action campaigns, and publications.
